Hopefully most of our readers took time last Friday to tune in to the #HITsm TweetChat, which featured topics centered around mobile health technology that were provided by our friends from HIMSS and mHIMSS. It was a fast-moving chat, with five topics of discussion rather than our standard four, which is reflective of the constantly evolving field.
Michael Gaspar, HIMSS associate social media manager, posted a summary of the chat this morning on the HIMSS blog. I recommend checking out his post, which focuses on responses to the first topic: “Who is the most powerful driver in the implementation of mobile health technologies? Clinicians? Patients? Providers?”
Following are several additional responses that I thought were worth sharing. If you have any additional thoughts on the topics, please share them in the comments section below. And, as always, please join us for a future #HITsm TweetChat, which are held Fridays at 11 a.m., Central.
